MEET LAUREN

Lauren Shaffer is a creative, a curator, a guide to healing — and the founder of Vessel Studio.

She naturally bridges two worlds; the intuitive and the strategic.

Her gift lies in distilling what matters most and translating it simply and practically, whether she’s facilitating personal healing, crafting a brand experience, or designing your home space as a sanctuary. 

Her work seeks to get to the spiritual and emotional roots of life patterns and dynamics that are inhibiting deep health and clients’ fullest wellbeing. She is known for her grounded presence, quiet confidence, and unwavering commitment to create subtle (and not so subtle) magic — qualities that naturally create a space that holds transformation.

Her focus has always been on health and wellness, whether 1:1 or through a long career of building global health-focused consumer brands. Now as a Reiki Master, meditation facilitator, and integrative healing practitioner, Lauren supports personal expansion through a lens of emotional, spiritual, and physical wellbeing.

Vessel Studio is an expression of her natural gift of guiding others to come in to alignment with their essence — with simplicity, discernment, beauty, and ease.

  • Reiki is a quiet, energetic healing practice that supports the body’s natural return to center.

    Through light touch and hands-on healing Reiki energy is gently guided to where it’s most needed. When your life force energy flows with ease, the body, mind, and spirit are better able to soften, regulate, and restore.


    At Vessel Studio, Reiki is not only a healing modality, but the foundation of deepening your relationship to your inner landscape through all of our work.

  • A session is an invitation to slow, soften, and be held. Be like water. You’ll  rest comfortably as the body settles into stillness. With intuitive hand placements, energy is offered through light touch. You may feel warmth, subtle sensations, or a gentle unwinding within. Some drift into a dreamlike state; others remain aware, yet deeply calm.

    There is nothing to do — only space to receive. Each session unfolds uniquely, often accompanied by intuitive reflections to support integration afterward.

  • Quite honestly, anything. Reiki meets you in the moment you’re in, and gently expands what’s possible from there.

    We work with clients for emotional processing, releasing stress and anxiety, nervous system regulation, improved sleep, and a deeper sense of grounding. Many also come in as support, as they experience increased clarity, intuitive connection, and creative flow.

    Rather than targeting a single condition, Reiki works holistically—supporting your overall wellbeing and energetic harmony. It is a complementary practice, designed to work alongside (not replace) medical care.

  • Reiki is spiritual in essence, but not tied to any religion or doctrine. It doesn’t ask you to believe—only to be open.

    Whether you arrive curious, skeptical, or deeply connected, Reiki meets you exactly where you are. Some experience it simply as profound rest; others as a doorway into deeper awareness. Both are welcome, and both are enough.

  • There’s no single path—only the one that feels aligned for you.

    A single session can offer a meaningful reset: a moment to recalibrate and return to yourself. For deeper support—through seasons of change, emotional healing, or chronic stress—a series of sessions can create a more sustained shift.

    Many begin with a small rhythm (such as 2–4 sessions over a month), then refine from there. Over time, Reiki becomes less of an in-session experience, and more of a supportive thread woven into how you tend to yourself everyday.
